The Waters of Estancia Laguna Verde
The lodge has access to a number of world-class waters, principally Lago Strobel and the Barrancoso River. There are also smaller creeks and lagoons that serve as excellent alternatives during the shoulder season when conditions may be less favourable.
Lago Strobel
Also known as the Jurassic Lake, this volcanic sink is part of a remote plateau and offers excellent sight fishing, even in harsh conditions. It's home to some truly giant rainbow and brown trout.
Barrancoso River
The only tributary of Lago Strobel, the final stretches of this river are situated only a short distance away from the lodge and offer the best conditions for a trophy rainbow trout.
Moro Creek
The result of a chain of 12 small and medium lakes within the Estancia Laguna Verde property, this has become a favourite of its guests during the start of the season. Its run is determined by the snowfall.
